The first new base area at Crested Butte Mountain Resort in more than two decades — and a rare one. Parcel B sits directly beneath the Peak, at the foot of Prospect, the neighborhood that has become home to some of the Valley's finest residences. Gold Link Village would bring a welcome new amenity to Prospect: a walkable, ski-in/ski-out base with a place to grab a coffee or pick up rentals, at your doorstep. The terrain is a perfect mix. An existing chairlift already runs directly through the site, opening onto gentle, beginner-friendly slopes ideal for ski school and first-timers, while just one or two lifts away, skiers can reach the steeps and extremes Crested Butte is known for. It is a rare base that welcomes a family's first day on skis, and a short ride from the terrain experts travel for. Parcel B carries previous entitlement history under the 2001/2002 approved PUD (Reception No. 521967), per the Amended and Restated Prospect at Mt. Crested Butte – PUD III Guide for: "(1) Units: maximum of fifty-eight (58) Residential Condominium Units. The GRFA shall not exceed an average of two thousand (2,000) square feet/unit or a total of one hundred, sixteen thousand (116,000) square feet. A set number of residential units will be established at Final Plan. (2) Commercial, resort services, skier services and storage: maximum of 60,000 square feet CRFA." Zoned permitted uses included residential, skier and resort services, retail, recreational improvements, parking, and mass transit structures. Development will require new application and subdivision. Additional documentation and custom website available upon request.
